How to Order

Thank you for your interest in ordering furniture from Emblem!

Before placing your order, please note that all orders are subject to our current Terms of Sale and our Warranty. It is crucial that all new customers review these terms. The following steps and information are included on this page as a helpful guide only.

To request a quote from Emblem, email your specifications to quotes@emblembuilt.com. We also encourage you to reach out directly to your regional Emblem sales representative.

Place your order by emailing a purchase order (in the form of a PDF) directly to orders@emblembuilt.com.

Address your purchase order (and written checks for payment) to:

Please include all relevant information in your purchase order, including:

  • Your company name and relevant contact information

  • Bill-to address, billing contact, email address

  • Ship-to address, shipping contact, receiving hours, any special instructions

  • Specifying firm

  • All product information (including finish and fabric)

  • Emblem quote number

  • Requested delivery date

Upon receipt of your purchase order, your Emblem project manager will send a deposit invoice and email clarifying all the important aspects of your order. Review your invoice and this email from Emblem for any errors and reply immediately with corrections.

Payment

As a custom fabricator, we require a minimum 50% deposit on all new orders and do not offer terms. Our production process does not begin until we receive your deposit. We will send a final invoice two to four weeks before your ship date; the balance of your order is due before shipment. Please contact us for information on submitting ACH/electronic payment, or you may mail a written check to our address above in Chino, CA.

Custom Drawings

When ordering custom furniture from Emblem, we start the design process only after receiving your purchase order and deposit payment. Your project manager will email you the drawings within 1-2 weeks of payment. While we typically get quick approvals on our custom designs, we recognize that some projects may need more changes. Please note that major changes or too many revisions might incur extra charges and can affect delivery times. Your order is not finalized and your production timeline does not begin until all drawings are approved.

Acknowledgment and Timeline

Emblem will provide a projected lead time on your invoice, but be aware that this is an ESTIMATE ONLY. We will confirm your timeline on your acknowledgment, which we will issue once your order is finalized. The following conditions must be met for your order to be finalized:

  • Receipt of 50% deposit

  • All textiles/COM/COL received at Emblem manufacturing facility

  • Sign-off /final approavl on any/all custom drawings

We are not able to guarantee timelines due to factors outside of our control. If you have a pending installation or sensitive due date, please let us know at time of order placement so we that we can do our best to accommodate.

Changes in Price

Emblem reserves the right to change the prices and specifications within our pricing document without notice.

COM / COL

Please note that all COM yardage requirements on our website are based on plain, 54" railroaded goods. Directional textiles and/or patterns may require additional yardage. Submit your COM information to verify yardage requirements. All COL square footage requirements are based on hides that are 50-55 square feet each. For all COM/COL orders, please email us tracking/shipping information and sidemark all of our fabric orders with your company name and project name.

Graded-in Textile Program

We are happy to offer a variety of curated textiles from leading commercial textile brands. Simply indicate your selection from one of our alliance partners' digital cards (or your selection of Emblem Endurance Velvet) on your purchase order or quote request. Grades are noted on our website. Emblem Endurance Velvet is directly sourced and offered at a discount as a grade 1 option.

Freight

All standard Emblem products will be shipped dock-to-dock, best way from our location in Southern California. On your purchase order, please include ship-to address, receiving hours and freight-receiving contact. You may request a freight estimate on custom orders by submitting your ship-to information along with your product specifications.

Emblem ships all orders upon completion and cannot store completed products. We reserve the right to charge a daily fee for furniture that is not accepted at its destination location. For will-call shipments, Emblem reserves the right to charge a fee for any shipment that is not picked up 7 days after you are notified that it is ready for pick up.

Emblem urges you to check your Products upon delivery. Do not sign for items that are damaged or defective. If you find any issues, take notes and photos of both the Products and packaging. Quickly contact Emblem and include this information so we can file a freight claim. If you can't inspect the furniture fully at delivery and discover concealed damage afterward, reach out to Emblem with your documentation and photos within 5 days.

It is your responsibility to report damages promptly. Emblem and its carriers are not responsible for concealed damage not reported within 7 days. If you don’t notify Emblem within 7 days, it will be assumed you accept the products as satisfactory. Emblem does not cover damage from mishandling by your installation or delivery team.
